The goal of the web site akutek.info is to be an independent center for search and free sharing of information and knowledge in the field of acoustics, in the spirit of akuTEK.

akutek.info is the concept of an acoustic conference on the www, not a replacement for a real conference, but a supplement that is always available, immediate, without conflict between parallel sessions, and free of charge.

This site is primarily dedicated to topics in room acoustics, music acoustics, speech acoustics, perception and their interrelation in general, and concert hall acoustics and stage acoustics In particular.

Readers are invited to contribute in several ways, by:

· Sharing papers, posters and presentations

· Participating in akuTEK Research projects

· Scientific comment or supplement to web-site content

· Sending us links to relevant free material on www

· Asking questions or suggesting topics

akutek.info was launched on 17 August 2006. The site is under construction. Readers are welcome to respond on e-mail.
