2013-11-28 Concert hall acoustics: Listen to each of the six samples, by clicking on their unique color name.  All samples are the same 31 seconds from a violin piece by Bach, recorded in anechoic conditions, but convolved with different IRs. Headphones required.

After listening, please give your subjective assessment of the acoustics in the samples, by answering the simple questions in the survey.  For convenience we include a short version, i.e. the first 6 seconds, of each sample. Feel free to repeat and use as much time as you like. Please click the “Finished” button when finished.

By collecting subjective data and comparing with analysis of corresponding IRs, we want to investigate parameters that are critical for subjective preference and hopefully find a key to prediction of excellent acoustics.

Results, together with acoustical data, will be revealed whenever a significant result is reached. So—spread the word!
